Looking for a thrifty getaway to the continent this winter? Eurostar and Thalys — who merged in May — have announced a flash sale, with one-way tickets on sale for as little as £29 each.
Between today (8 November) and Thursday 10 November, the train companies have 40,000 cheap Eurostar tickets available for direct journeys to Lille, Brussels, Amsterdam and Paris. Onward Thalys journeys from Brussels to Cologne are also on sale for as little as 29 euros each way.
Though the sale's only on for a couple of days, the thrifty tickets are available for travel dates between 28 November 2022 and 2 February 2023. Sounds like a good excuse to explore Cologne's Christmas market, or enjoy a cheeky new year's getaway to the City of Light.
