For a few years now, charity RedR has been offering Londoners a once a year chance to go up the BT Tower. This year is the last time RedR will be running the event, and tickets are on sale now.
On Friday 17 November, hourly 'flights' to the top of the Fitzrovia tower will take place between 12pm and 10pm. Once you've taken the speedy lift up to the 34th floor, you'll be given a drink and a sweet treat. Then, grab your spot by the floor-to-ceiling glass windows and wait for that famous revolving floor to do its thing.
Find out more about what it's like inside the BT Tower. We recommend going in daylight if you can, you'll get the best views over the city and really have a chance of spotting those obscure landmarks — it's well worth taking an afternoon off work for.
Tickets for these events always sell out quickly, so book now if you're interested. It'll cost you £60 (+ booking fee) with all money raised supporting RedR's work to provide training and technical support to NGOs, aid workers and communities responding to natural and man-made disasters all over the world.
