A decommissioned jet plane is the setting for a new escape room in south London.
Flight 338 involves a storyline, in which you're snapped in handcuffs before boarding a plane bound for a maximum security prison, for a trip on which everything might not go according to plan.
The immersive experience involves a shadowy figure from your 'less law-abiding days', and being framed for a major crime with a life sentence. Within 75 minutes you must seek out clues, solve puzzles and overcome obstacles with fellow members of your 'gang' — with the aim of making a clean getaway.
Basically, it's about the same levels of stress and confusion as a Ryanair flight.
The escape room, which opens on 25 November, is at Studio 338 in Greenwich — and is the brainchild of escape room experts The Riddle Within and Bewilder Box. (So we're expecting good things.)
From January 2020, a Chernobyl-inspired escape room opens at Studio 338.
Flight 338, Studio 338, Greenwich, 24 November 2019-February 2020. Tickets from £20 per person
