1,000 dandily-dressed motorcyclists will purr through the streets of London on Sunday 19 May 2024, for the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride*.
Dressed in their dapper best — think tweed jackets, pocket squares, bowties and and stiffly-waxed moustaches — the riders will set out on a 1.5 hour-long ride, starting out from Twickenham, and finishing up at Smithfield Market.
Members of the public are encouraged to line the route, and cheer riders on.
But aside from looking rather dapper with a Triumph between your legs, what's it all in aid of? A very good cause, in fact — to raise money for/awareness of, prostate cancer.
Here's the riders' route (start and finish locations are where you can get snaps without having to rush too much):
- Start: The Stoop, Twickenham (arrive at at 8am, set off at 10am)
- Richmond
- Over the bridge to Chiswick
- Hammersmith
- Kensington
- Hyde Park
- Parliament
- Embankment
- Finish: Smithfield Market, City of London (approx 11.30am)

*Despite its name, it's not just men who take part
