1,000 dandily-dressed motorcyclists will purr through the streets of London this Sunday (22 May), for the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride*.

Dressed in their dapper best — think tweed jackets, pocket squares, bowties and and stiffly-waxed moustaches — the riders will set out on a 1.5 hour-long ride, starting out from Twickenham, and finishing up at Smithfield Market.

Members of the public are encouraged to line the route, and cheer riders on.

But aside from looking rather dapper with a Triumph between your legs, what's it all in aid of? A very good cause, in fact — to raise money for/awareness of, prostate cancer.
