Munich's official Oktoberfest may be cancelled this year, but that doesn't mean you can't celebrate all things Bavarian in style — not if BOXPARK's got anything to do with it.

For the first time ever, BOXPARK brings Oktoberfest to its Croydon and Wembley venues for two socially-distanced, weekend-long parties in partnership with Czech brewer Staropramen. Stomp your feet to the boisterous beats of Premier Oompah Band and host DJ Disco Disco. Enjoy a gloriously frothy stein or two. And don't forget to stuff your face with Bavarian-style street food from BOXPARK's traders.

Dining highlights include a vegan Oktoberfest special: the Gnarbeque's Kellerburg and Kasëfries — a double-patty vegan burger and curly fries combo loaded with sauerkraut and sweet mustard. Meanwhile committed carnivores are well-catered for, with mouthwatering hotdogs courtesy of Smoky Boys.

There's more to BOXPARK's Oktoberfest bash than beer, beats and burgers, too. Watch stilt-walkers, play traditional Bavarian games, and look out for lederhosen aplenty (or feel free to rock your own — fancy dress is strongly encouraged!)

The festivities at BOXPARK Croydon start on Saturday 17 October, and Oktoberfest stays down south for Sunday 18 October, before moving to BOXPARK Wembley for Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October.

To ensure social distancing guidelines are upheld, BOXPARK is running three sessions a day at each venue. Sittings run 2pm-4.30pm, 4.30pm-7pm, and 7pm-9.30pm, with a maximum of six guests per group.
