Pumpkin picking, a somewhat American concept, has really taken off in the UK in the run-up to Halloween, with patches and pick-your-own farms springing up all over the place. Here are some PYO farms and pumpkin patches near London opening their gates to pickers for autumn 2026.
Due to the rural nature of these farms, you're probably going to need a car to get to most of them... and wellies. Overwhelmed by choice? We've mapped the pumpkin farms and patches to make it easier to find your nearest one, and plan your autumnal day out. See below the map for details on each one.
Tulleys Pumpkin Festival 2026, Sussex
Tulleys Farm, near Crawley in West Sussex, has seasonal entertainment nailed on, from its tulip festival in the spring, through to sunflowers in the summer. And, of course, pumpkins come autumn.

Wander among 100 different varieties and choose your own, with roaming performers and photo opportunities dotted around the fields. Tuck into hot dogs, doughnuts and burgers at the street food festival. There's even a giant observation wheel for seeing it all from the air, and Pumpkin Nights are back for 2026, offering live music in the pumpkin fields beneath the night sky.
New for 2026 is the Pumpkin Valley, a tranquil area of winding paths, wooden bridges and gentle streams, dotted with giant pumpkin sculptures, all leading to the charming Pumpkin Farm House and a picturesque Hobbit House.
This one always sells out way in advance, so be quick. And if you miss out, sign up to hear when tickets go on sale for next year.
