The story of the Cereal Killer Cafe, which split opinions when it arrived in London in 2014, has been turned into a musical.

Spilt Milk is the story of a novelty cereal cafe opening in east London, and the anti-gentrification riots which followed.

The cafe, which now has six branches, sells cereals from all over the world in various combinations, along with flavoured milk, and cereal cocktails.

According to the Standard, the owners of the Cereal Killer Cafe didn't know about the show until two weeks ago, but described it as "a dream come true".

An early workshop performance of Spilt Milk will take place on 11 August at 10.30am at The Other Palace in Victoria. Tickets are £7.50 and need to be booked in advance.
