An 'unexploded bomb' caused quite the kerfuffle by the Thames in Wapping this morning... until it turned out to be an old Christmas decoration.

Tower Hamlets Police reported being called to inspect the 'device' after it was spotted by members of the public... but then a closer look revealed it to be an oversized Christmas bauble.

Officers were called to Wapping to investigate a possible unexploded device that had been washed up on the shore.
