The 'Northern Lights' Have Appeared Over The Tower Of London

Cancel that Iceland trip. The Northern Lights have arrived in central London.

Well, sort of. For the next two nights (Friday 5 April, Saturday 6 April), a projection of aurora borealis by artist Dan Archer, will hover above the Tower of London from 8pm to 10.30pm.

The installation is a promo stunt for a new Huawei phone, but the whole mock up does look pretty spectacular — and means you can cut a nifty corner on your bucket list. Make sure you get down there with your phone in the next couple of days. Whichever make it is.
