The latest from an incident this afternoon at London Bridge and Monument station suggests that a number people have been injured in a possible terrorist attack.

According to the Guardian's live feed on the incident, station staff at Monument station in the City of London say that five people have been injured, possibly by a person or persons with a knife. That number has not been confirmed by official reports yet.

Footage on social media has also surfaced of armed police shooting a person on London Bridge; the Metropolitan Police have confirmed that such a shooting did take place.

There is also confirmation from the Metropolitan Police that the incident is being treated 'as if it is terror-related':

A wide area has been cordoned off, with trains and tube service at London Bridge cancelled until at least later this afternoon. The Guardian has also said that Monument station has been closed. Bus routes and roads in the area are majorly affected. Avoid the entire area for now.
