A free trail dedicated to singer-songwriter Taylor Swift opens at the V&A Museum later this month.

The trail will comprise of 16 looks from Swift's musical 'eras', featuring costumes, instruments, music awards and other objects from her personal collection. Among them are cowboy boots worn during her period as a country singer in 2007, through to the black ruffled dress seen in the music video for her latest single, Fortnight.

The trail is spread over 13 stops — 13 being a lucky number for Swift and her fandom — throughout the V&A's permanent galleries, each one theatrically staged with accompanying soundtrack, music videos and set dressing. Previously unseen archive material exploring Swift's childhood features, and the display also delves into the phenomenon of the 'Swiftie' fandom.
