Laura Reynolds Santa's Coming To Town... On A Horse-Drawn Carriage

Santa Claus is coming to town... though he's swapped his reindeer and sleigh for a dray horse-drawn carriage.

On Wednesday 3 December 2025, the man in red is touring the capital in his new ride, provided by Young's pubs, collecting pre-loved coats as part of the Wrap Up London campaign. The charity collection redistributes second-hand coats to those who need them most to keep warm this winter.

Santa's route takes him from Victoria to Covent Garden, past landmarks including Buckingham Palace and along The Mall, with people encouraged to drop off donations of coats they no longer need along the way. He then parks up at the Marquess of Anglesey on Bow Street for the afternoon.

The event is organised by Young's pubs, several of which are acting as donation points for Wrap Up London between 21 November-5 December 2025. Find your nearest pub where you can donate a coat, or learn more about Wrap Up London 2025.
