TV chef/seafood Svengali Rick Stein is offering lunches at 1975 prices, at a selection of his restaurants this February.
To mark 50 years of the Rick Stein group, a limited number of lunches are being dished up at ludicrously low prices, courtesy of a 'Rolled Back & Retro' menu: shellfish soup (50p), grilled lobster (£2.80), seafood thermidor (£2.20), Cornish bouillabaisse (£2.60), treacle tart (35p) and apple pancakes with Calvados sauce (40p). Rick Stein Barnes in west London is one of the restaurants taking part in the deal*, which runs between Thursday 6-Sunday 9 February 2025.
You'll have to be snappier than a crab though — reservations for the limited seats at this price go live on this page of Rick Stein's website on Friday 24 January at 10am.
