Anyone For A Ketchup Cupcake? Heinz Teams Up With Hummingbird Bakery To Create New Cake Range

We've had the Baked Beans Museum. We've had the Baked Beans chocolate truffle. Now Heinz continues its 150th anniversary celebrations with... a range of saucy cupcakes.

The condiment connoisseur has teamed up with Hummingbird Bakery to launch cupcakes in limited edition — and highly questionable — flavours.

The cakes — which come in ketchup, beans, mayo, salad cream and tomato soup options — launch this Friday, to coincide with the birthday of company founder, Henry John Heinz. Each of the six Hummingbird Bakery branches in London is giving away 25 of the cakes for free, on a first come, first served basis. After that, they're available to buy for £3.25 each take away/£3.90 eat in.

Heinz x Hummingbird Bakery cupcakes are available from Friday 11 October at all six London branches, for a limited but unspecified period.
