Londonist asks someone some random questions. This time it's RuPaul's Drag Race finalist, Kitty Scott-Claus ā who appears as Wendy in Peter Pan at the Phoenix Theatre this Christmas.
If you were a Tube line which would it be?
Iām a Northern Line diva through and through. However I think we should all aspire to be a Victoria line. Not a Lizzy Line though ā that's just showing off.
Most you've ever paid for a drink in London?
I'm newly alcohol free, so nights out for me have become VERY cheap! Although to be fair you'd be surprised how much people can mark up a bottle of Evian.
Last time you went to Croydon?
Not for AGES! I think the last time I was in Croydon was 2021, right before my season of Drag Race UK was announced. I did a big huge drag brunch at the Boxpark there with a billion other drag queens.
Most memorable encounter with a stranger in London?
I once stood behind Tom Daley on the Tube and it took me forever to clock that it was him ā this was back years ago just after the London 2012 Olympics and he had a pair of trunks clipped onto the back of his bag drying off. I remember thinking how odd it was, and then I saw people taking pictures... and then realised it was Tom Daley. LOL.
Best outfit for a night out in Soho?
Anything! As long as you have the confidence to own it you can rock anything in Soho! Wear whatever makes you feel most confident and the best version of yourself and you'll always be onto a winner.
London building you'd most like to demolish?
King's Cross St Pancras station. That walk between the Northern and the Vicky line deserves a special place in hell! And in the summer with no air con... forget it hun!
