"There's A Goat In Clissold Park I'd Steal": 'Starstruck' Writer Alice Snedden Speaks To Londonist

Londonist asks someone some random questions. This time it's co-writer of hit sitcom, Starstruck, Alice Snedden, whose comedy show Highly Credible comes to Soho Theatre this April.

Highly Credible starts with your car getting stolen. If you could steal one thing from London what would it be?

There's a goat in Clissold Park who I've got real affection for and think would make a great addition to our household.

Have you ever taken a black cab? (got in one, as opposed to stolen one)

Yes but I can’t prove it, so you’re just gonna have to take my word for it.

What's the stupidest street name you've come across over here?

The North Circular lacks a bit of imagination.

What is the most annoying trait of Londoners?

I guess historically imperialism and then more recently, walking slowly on the footpath.

Ever been starstruck by someone in London?

Yes, the Savoy Hotel.

Alice Snedden performs her latest show, Highly Credible at Soho Theatre, 22-26 April 2025.
