Love beer, but fallen foul once-too-often of a 12.5% Baltic porter?

A new taproom in south London might be for you.

Small Beer have been on the London scene since 2017, exclusively crafting brews between 1.0% and 2.8% abv. Now, they've opened their first proper taproom, on the Bermondsey beer mile (soft launched as of 20 July).

The taproom offers a selection of draught lagers, dark lagers, steam beers and pale ales — all of which you can sup on relatively freely without fear of feeling the effects the following day.

Local street food vendors, live shows, board games and bar sports are also planned for the taproom, which slots in among the many other other great breweries in this neck of the woods — from Kernel to London Beer Factory.
