Non Alcoholic Beer Taproom Lands In Hackney This Summer

LOAH has a range of fruity lagers that are a shoo-in for summer sipping.

Trying to give up hangovers? A new taproom opens in Hackney this June, and it's only serving non-alcoholic brews.

LOAH will be pouring at an under-the-arches bar in Hackney Downs from 7 June. Fruity, non-boozy lagers are the name of the game here; its three core beers are Lager Lime, Lager Peach and Lager Blood Orange — all 0.5%, all perfectly primed for summer drinking. All beers are vegan and gluten free. There'll also be collabs with various breweries, meaning, we hope, something new to try on every visit.

LOAH's core beers will be bolstered by collabs with other breweries.

LOAH's space features a built-in record store, and a turntable where drinkers can spin vinyls. Art classes, movie nights and supperclubs will also feature. All in all, very Hackney.

London is brimful with non/low alcoholic beer options these days. Earlier in 2023, 0.5% lager brand Lucky Saint opened a pub in Marylebone (it also serves alcoholic drinks). Small Beer is another brilliant purveyor of low ABV beers; its taproom is in South Bermondsey.
