This weekend, St Anne's Gardens on Wardour Street plays host to a food festival celebrating some of the area's best restaurants.

Among those taking part are: 10 Greek Street, Ducksoup, Quo Vadis, Brindisa, Shackfuyu, Smoking Goat, St. John, The Palomar and Trullo.

There will also be food demos, live entertainment and a vegetable sculpture competition for kids.

Entry to the festival costs £15 and once inside visitors can buy food tokens for £2 each, in order to purchase taster sized dishes from stalls.

Second helpings, please. Photo: Iona Wolff.

The festival was set up by Margot Henderson of Rochelle Canteen and St. John restaurants with the aim of raising money for the under-funded Soho Parish Primary School.

Last year, Soho Food Feast raised over £40,000 which helped rebuild the school's playground.

Who knew you could do so much good just by filling your face?
