Tonight Is London Coffee Night. There's Mezcal Too

Half of the city will struggle to sleep tonight — it's the first ever London Coffee Night.

That's right, just when you thought you couldn't squeeze in another macchiato to celebrate the London Coffee Festival, there's an all-night caffeine bender going down in central London.

Closing the festival in hand-jittering style, London Coffee Night sees coffee shops and bars across Soho and the West End host coffee tastings, coffee cocktail evenings, live bands, DJ sets and art installations.

Among the most tantalising events is a mezcal and coffee pairing at The Azulito Bar (brings a whole new meaning to getting your drink spiked), coffee negronis and a screening of documentary The Girl in the Café at Soho Bikes, and a live coffee-themed art installation at Gail's in Soho.

We predict tube carriages positively shaking on Friday morning.

London Coffee Night is tonight — 14 April. Find out more on the London Coffee Festival website. All funds raised during UK Coffee Week will go directly towards Project Waterfall.
