Forget chipped ornaments, baggy cardigans and dusty lamps. King's Cross hosts a car boot sale with a twist this month.
Goods are sold out of the boots of all manner of vintage vehicles at the Classic Car Boot Sale, and the things being sold have a vintage twist too: get your hands on vintage clothes and accessories, retro homewares, vinyl records and other collectibles.
Don't know your treasure from your tat, or can't be bothered with the rummaging? That's OK. Drinking, dining and dancing are all heavily encouraged, with street food and drinks being sold from vintage vans, and tunes provided courtesy of a DJ atop an open-air vintage Routemaster bus.
The Classic Car Boot Sale takes place at Lewis Cubitt Square in King's Cross on 16 and 17 April, 10am-6pm. Tickets are £5 on the door or £4 online.
