Donate Your Old Coat To Wrap Up London
Volunteers helping out at last year's successful coat collection.

Got an old coat lying around at home that you never wear anymore? Planning to buy a new one this winter and not sure what to do with your old one? Donate it to Hands On London, who will pass it on to someone in need.

The charity's annual Wrap Up London campaign takes place 11-13 November this year, with collections being made at the following stations 7am-11am on these days:

  • King's Cross
  • Victoria
  • Waterloo
  • Canary Wharf
  • Charing Cross
  • London Bridge
  • Highbury & Islington
  • Euston

All coats collected will be redistributed via homeless shelters, refugee centres, women’s refuges and other charities. Last year, 14,700 old coats were put to good use, and the charity hopes that the number will be even higher this time. Men's, women's and children's coats are all gratefully received and put to good use.

As well as coats, volunteers are needed to make this happen. If you think you can help out with coat collection, distribution or sorting, get in touch with the Wrap Up London by emailing [email protected]. If you want to organise your own coat collection or want any further information, email [email protected].
