Funzing is one of London's hottest events websites. Many of their events are so unique, you won't find them anywhere else in London. What's more, anyone can share their passion or hobby with others by hosting an experience through Funzing, even in their own home.
When it comes to Halloween, Funzing has the most unique experiences to ensure it's a memorable one. If you're looking for something off the beaten track, try one of these events:
The dark side of Hampstead
A former Highgate resident, Siwan became interested in the ghoulish reputation of local pubs after volunteering at Highgate Cemetery. Join her for a haunted pub crawl around the area: visit haunted boozers and listen to historical murder stories while walking through Hampstead Heath in the dark. £10, various dates including 30 October and 31 October, 6.30pm-9pm
Terribly delicious singles supper club
Martina and Magdalena's Nordic-inspired supper club was created to connect people through the traditional taste of their dishes. This Halloween, they've designed a special evening for single Londoners who want to meet new friends in a cosy, relaxed environment: dishes include pumpkin cannelloni, cider-marinated short ribs and bloody ice shots — diabolically good. £30, 31 October, 7.30pm-10.30pm
Halloween pub crawl
Jordan runs secret Shoreditch pub crawls, and this Halloween special will take you and your friends through the dimly lit streets of east London, searching for your next pint. Early bird tickets on Funzing include free entry to five top bars/clubs plus special drink discounts. £12, 30 October and 31 October, 8.30pm-3.30am
Scary face painting
Professional face painter Marta opens her house for a session that's guaranteed to make you end up looking like you've just walked off the set of a horror movie. Learn how to make yourself unrecognisable — for that Halloween house party, trick or treating sesh, or just to scare your flatmates senseless. Come armed with your own ideas, although Marta has some up her sleeve. £5, 31 October, 2pm-3pm & 3pm-4pm
London's scariest haunts tour
Join tour guide Andrew for an after-dark walk exploring the haunted story of our city. Hear spooky tales from the old London town, visit its most ghost-riddled theatre, and follow in the terrified steps of traitors — all free of charge! Free, happening on Saturdays including 31 October, 7pm-9pm
Horror game in Shoreditch
This puzzle-solving game is properly skull-racking, meticulously planned by Fire Hazard's insider Amy. Join a 66-minute-long race against time: solve the cryptic clues, locate the time gates and slam them shut before they disclose all kinds of horrors. Go by yourself or take a brave friend. £25, 31 October, 8pm-10.30pm
