What: Classic Car Boot Sale comes to King's Cross
Why: Because this is no ordinary car boot sale. Forget rummaging around in the back of an old Ford Escort hoping to find a rusty saucepan or chipped ornament; instead think retro clothing, accessories, household goods, memorabilia and vinyl records displayed in natty vehicles. There are also fairground rides, street theatre and the opportunity to jitterbug to a Routemaster-based DJ set.
