Tails Will Wag At Battersea Annual Reunion

Every year, thousands of dogs come through the doors of Battersea Dogs Home in need of some TLC. The lucky ones leave to start new lives with new owners.

Next month, some of these pooches will be returning to Battersea for the Annual Reunion and Fun Day — a free, one day event with dog (and family) friendly activities, taking place in Battersea Park.

The event is not just open to ex-Battersea residents. All dogs (and dog-loving humans) are invited to take part in the festivities, which include dog classes and displays, and food and drink stalls. We're even promised a "Battersea-supporting celebrity or two".

For £2, you can enter your dog into classes, with categories including "waggiest tail" and "golden oldie". You might even find yourself a new family member in the re-homing parade.

All money raised at the event goes back into running Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.

The Battersea Annual Reunion takes place on Sunday 6 September, 11am-4.30pm in Battersea Park. Free, just turn up.
