Following last week's Periscope broadcasts from the Zoo, this week you can pop into another London institution via the magic of mobile phone technology.

From 9am on Tuesday, the V&A's Kate Bethune will take you into the heart of the museum's blockbuster show, Savage Beauty. You can watch a tour of the exhibition live and learn more about the extraordinary talent of innovative fashion designer, Alexander McQueen.

We recommend getting to work early, grabbing the chicest coffee you can, and logging on to @V_and_A on Periscope. You can ask Kate Bethune questions about the exhibits and leave comments on the show. Or just send some hearts to show the love.

(If you're a Periscope novice, here's what you need to do: download Periscope from the iTunes store or the Google Play Store. Sign in using your Twitter details. Find and follow @V_and_A — search under the 'People' icon — and sit back and enjoy. Also: don't forget your headphones, unless you want the whole office to listen in.)

Sarah Armond from the V&A says, "We wanted to do our first Periscope broadcast for Savage Beauty, as it has been so popular we wanted to give audiences, especially those who have not been able to visit in person, the opportunity to see inside this stunning exhibition and see the incredible McQueen pieces up close."

Savage Beauty is the first and largest retrospective of McQueen's work to date. More than 400,000 people from 87 countries around the world have visited the exhibition at the V&A. Read our review here.
