Game of Thrones fans: want to bring your favourite show to almost-real-life? The Game of Phones is treasure hunt-style game, from the ever-sociable thinkingbob crew, which allows you to take part in the (friendly) war for the 'Iron Phone'.

The game is played through a specially designed interactive app on your phone. Teams compete to solve clues inspired by the TV series on a mission to find your house crest hidden in a maze. As the mysteries unravel in the palm of your hand (ahem - on your phone), expect an array of bonus challenges and suspicious characters lurking in your path.

Crystal Palace Park is the magnificent setting so use your imagination to turn dinosaurs into dragons and the maze into Highgarden. It's a challenge that is guaranteed to get you talking and laughing as you race against the clock. Make sure you complete the game before Winter comes (6pm) and find out who will be king or khaleesi — ehm, queen.

This event is just one of many organised by thinking bob, a fast-growing on and offline social community where people meet, socialise, do fun things and explore the city together. The next Game of Phones event takes place on Saturday 8 August, which means you've got plenty of time to go to some other socials first (cheese and wine picnic, board games night or just beer garden bevvies?) and meet fellow Bobbers before the big event.

Join and try it - your first month is just £1 and you could be expanding your social circle all summer.

Visit the thinking bob website for more details about them, their events and membership. You can also keep up to date via their Twitter feed and Facebook page.
