Ticket Alert: Summer Films At Somerset House

Somerset-House

Now in its eleventh year, the Film4 Summer Screen at Somerset House is back again with a season of  classic and contemporary films screened in the open air courtyard of the elegant 1776 building.

Presale tickets are available from 10am tomorrow (13 May), for those who have registered. If you miss the chance to register for these, tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday 15 May. Tickets are £16 for a single screening, £20 for a double screening, or £24 for a premiere screening.

There are actually three premieres this year: Gemma Bovery, The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and Me And Earl And The Dying Girl which closes the season.

One notable London-y highlight is a double bill of Withnail and I with An American Werewolf in London with a whole host of other popular classics and also a special musical night which the public can vote for here.

Bring your own blankets and cushions, or buy them on site. We recommend you arrive early to mark out a good spot, listen to live DJs and enjoy a pre-movie picnic.

Film4 Summer Screen at Somerset House runs 6-19 August. Tickets £16./£20/£24 plus booking fee.
