Vodafone London Fashion Weekend: New Fashion Trends, Designer Shopping And Alexander McQueen
We named it one of the top things to do during the capital's upcoming fashion-dedicated week. Vodafone London Fashion Weekend promises exclusive catwalks, high-quality designer shopping and unique insider talks.
As we anticipated last week, this edition features world-renowned fashion designers who will showcase their SS15 collections. The festival welcomes fashion trio SIBLING, multi award-winning Jean-Pierre Braganza, creative duo Fyodor Golan and fashion legend Amanda Wakeley. It's a unique occasion to see the designers' latest collections on the same catwalk used during London Fashion Week.
Looking to find out all the upcoming leading trends for next season? THE OUTNET.COM has all the answers: black and white, hyper-floral, 70s style and shiny metallic fabrics will dominate the fashion scene in the next few months, they say. And after you've learnt what's hot, it's time to go shopping for unique designer pieces in the pop-up shopping area.
There are plenty of talks and special events in store, too. The most awaited is a behind-the-scenes talk on the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition at the V&A. Curator Sonnet Stanfill will reveal all the secrets behind one of the most-awaited exhibitions of the year, on 28 February. During the weekend, you can also join a make-up masterclass with Maybelline New York and learn how to become a fashion stylist with Alexandra Stedman.
Tickets are available in Bronze (£20), Silver (£38), Gold (£50) and Luxe (£130) packages, and feature a range of the above events (plus front row seats, a private lounge and designer tote bag filled with treats, should you go for Luxe). Decide what you want to see and choose the package that fits you.
Londonist readers get an exclusive 20% off their tickets*, just by quoting the code “LONDONIST” at checkout.
*Offer not valid on LUXE tickets. Booking and transaction fees apply.
