Stuck for something to do with your other half on Valentine's Day? Bored of the same old restaurant dates? Two unique events are coming to London this February, so cancel that run-of-the-mill reservation and treat your partner to something special.

Take inspiration from some of the world's most famous couples, as you dine among the likes of Posh and Becks, Prince William and Kate, and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie — or at least their wax figure equivalents. Madame Tussauds offers a three course meal in its Loved Up pop-up restaurant, with a specially paired glass of wine to accompany each course. The evening starts with cocktails and canapés at a Hollywood-themed reception, all included in the ticket price. Dining in the Victorian-inspired world stage ballroom, below ornate chandeliers means this won't feel like any ordinary dinner date. The plush surroundings are bound to make you feel like film stars or royalty.

Alternatively, Sealife After Dark is back for one night only. This might sound like a fishy idea for a date, but bear with us. The London Aquarium on Southbank stays open late after daytime visitors have left, so you can have a close encounter with sharks, penguins, crocodiles and over 500 other species. Enjoy a glass of Prosecco on arrival to steel your nerves for passing through the glass walkway with sharks swimming just inches from you. The best part? It's not just for couples, so if you're still looking for fish in the sea, grab your friends and go along for an alternative Valentine's night out — no date required.

Loved Up at Madame Tussauds takes place on 14 February at 8pm. Tickets are £99 per person, and can be booked here. Sealife After Dark takes place on 13 February from 6.45pm. Tickets are £15-£27 and can be booked here.
