Time-lapse photographer Chad Higgins loves Tower Bridge. And we mean LOVES: you've got to be extremely dedicated to shoot the quality of video he's just made.
He says he's wanted to capture the iconic crossing for some time, but has been so busy that he's never found the, well, time to do it. However, the installation of the new glass floors, galvanised him into action and, as Chad explains: "I decided it was time to make time."
Shooting one of London's most popular tourist haunts comes with its own set of challenges, not least trying to ensure no-one bumps into your tripod while shooting, which would ruin a sequence — infuriating if you've been patiently working for an hour. But he overcame the odds and has made this wonderful day-in-the-life sequence.
