Party, Carnival-Style, With London Buses This Friday

web-fridaylate-carnivalcity-newLots of London's larger museums offer late night opening from time to time, but London Transport Museum is the only one (as far as we know) which lets you party alongside London's decommissioned buses. That's our kind of party.

This Friday, the Covent Garden stalwart keeps its doors open late for a Carnival-themed Friday Late. The Notting Hill Carnival Roadshow will be getting warmed up for next month's big event, drawing visitors in with the sound of steel pans. Once inside, expect Samba workshops, mask-making, and a transport and carnival quiz.

You can also take a gander at the Museum's current exhibition, Goodbye Piccadilly, which uses archive photographs to tell the story of London's buses in World War One.

Friday Late takes place from 6.45pm on 18 July. Tickets are £10/£8 and need to be prebooked.
