£1 may be expensive for a chocolate coin, but what if you got to watch that chocolate coin being 'made'? That's the idea behind this installation at advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy London's offices in Hanbury Street, Shoreditch. Pop a pound coin in the slot and watch the machinery, created by sculptor Ben Hughes and artist Joshua T Howell, go through the steps to make your treat. And at the end, you can eat the results.
All proceeds from the Chocolate Coin Factory go towards a new playground for Millfields Community School in East London.
The installation runs until 6 January from 9am to 8pm, 7 days a week.
