Rhys Ifans plays Danny.

Imagine being homeless on the streets of London. Exposed yet invisible, thousands of people walk past you every day, like you’re nobody.

But what happens when you suddenly become somebody?

Protest Song, inspired by the Occupy movement, is a brand new, one-man show coming to The Shed.

Written by Tim Price (The Radicalisation of Bradley Manning) and performed by the inimitable Rhys Ifans, this funny, dark and savage monologue tells how, having slept rough by St Paul’s Cathedral for years, homeless Danny wakes up one morning to find himself in the heart of the 2011/12 Occupy London camp.

Protest Song is at The Shed 16 December-11 January 2014. Tickets cost £12/£20 and can be booked online or via the box office on 020 7452 3000.
