Haven’t visited The London Dungeon in yonks? Well, it’s been refurbished, revamped and restyled and you can experience it this Christmas, away from the usual tourist crowd, at a special VIP Christmas late opening.

Taking place after the doors have shut to usual punters, the London Dungeon Christmas late lets you explore the plague-ridden alleys of the middle ages, Victorian streets of Jack the Ripper and two exciting thrill rides with a mince pie in hand (which means things could get rather messy).

Steel yourself for the journey with a "poison" cocktail upon arrival before London’s dark past is brought to life before you with 18 shows, special effects and a cast of actors who are seriously lacking in Yuletide cheer. It’s festive fun with a Santa’s sack-worth of jumpy surprises, and not a Christmas-frenzied child in sight.

London Dungeon Christmas Lates take place on Thursday 5 and 12 December and 6.30pm and 6.45pm. Tickets cost £25 (includes welcome cocktail and mince pie), visit the website to book and for further details, over 18s only.
