Mind the Bap: The Underground Food & Spirit Pairing Dinner

Tube Interior

Missing the tube is an inevitable aspect of city life we all loathe, even more so when it’s one that was hosting the amazing supperclub back in May. However, much like confused, sobbing tourists on the Circle Line* – The Underground Dinner has come around again and you’ve got another chance to hop onboard and tuck in.

The return journey sees epic food organisers Grub Club team up with the folks over at Flaviar for the first time, to add a dimension of ‘spirit pairing’ to the proceedings. No wine – just hard, delicious spirits. And a five-course meal.

The setting is a decommissioned 1967 Victoria Line tube carriage, parked somewhere up near Walthamstow. We don’t yet know what the new menu looks like – but you’re guaranteed a fab night with fellow foodies and train geeks. Even if your mode of transport isn't actually going anywhere.

The Underground Food & Spirit Pairing dinner takes place on Thursday 10 October and tickets cost £39. A regular supper club (not spirit-paired, but still on a goddamn tube carriage) still has free seats on 28 September.

Please note The bar opens at 6:30pm and dinner will be served at 7:30pm sharp. *Yes, we know that can't happen now the Circle's been decircled, just go with it, you nitpicker, you.
