The streets of London Bridge will be home to a diverse, month-long programme of outdoor live performances from Thursday 1 August, with the return of London Bridge Live Arts.
During the 2012 Olympic Games, Team London Bridge commissioned 26 outdoor performance acts featuring young, local artists through the Ideas Tap network. The festival was such a success that they are back for 2013, bringing London’s emerging talent back to the streets.
All of this year's 28 acts have been sourced through Ideas Tap, an arts charity for young creative people, and the pieces include live painting, alfresco theatre, hula-hooping acts, and a London Underground busker.
Performances will take place from 12-4pm on Thursdays to Sundays at Hay’s Galleria, the Cotton’s Centre Pier and Potters Fields Park. The first week’s schedule can be found here, so take a look and see what London talent is on offer.
