A new 20 foot shipping container has landed outside Shoreditch High Street station.
But it's not another pop-up shop, it's the massive blank canvas for a six-week street art project inspired by the documentary concept Bomb the World. Six different international graffiti crews will drop into east London on a Sunday and #BOMBTHEBOX with their collective creativity.
The crews have been selected by one of the most legendary graffiti artists in the world, Aroe. See the first masters at work this Sunday 4 August from 10am. DJs and live beatboxing over at Boxpark provide a party backdrop to each session.
To celebrate, the #BOMBTHEBOX series launches this Thursday 1 August between 6-9pm with a new exhibition on Boxpark's upper deck featuring work from the crews that will be bombing the box. There’ll also be DJs, free drinks, and a chance to chat with Aroe, as well as director of Bomb The World, Josh Cole.
