A Funthyme At The Farm: Al Fresco Dining In Spitalfields

Young and passionate foodie collective Funthyme can be found cooking up some hearty fare over the coming summer (we use the term ‘summer’ very loosely) months at Spitalfields City Farm.

After the roaring success of their previous al fresco efforts, in addition to the Food Through The Ages event at The Geffrye Museum, Funthyme return to serve up a three-course 'family style' feast, including a BBQ’d dish. The menu is ever-changing, and every month different options will be available with the seasons. Many of the ingredients will be sourced from the farm itself.

Given the unpredictable ‘charm’ of our weather, there will be a newly installed yurt, should it be needed.

Which it will be.

Funthyme at Spitalfields City Farm, Buxton Street, London E1 5AR, 7pm–10.30pm. £30 per person, BYOB (ice bucket provided).  Tickets are still available For Wednesday 15 May. Go to the website to book for  24, 25 and 27 July. June is sold out, but you can e-mail to get on the wait list.
