Win Tickets To The Captain of Köpenick At The National Theatre

This is a sponsored post on behalf of the National Theatre.

Berlin, 1910. Antony Sher plays an ex-convict in a captain’s uniform who attempts to take on the state in this savagely funny comedy.

Released after fifteen years in prison, trapped in a bureaucratic maze, ex-convict Wilhem Voigt wanders 1910 Berlin in desperate, hazardous pursuit of identity papers. Based on a real-life story, follow Voigt’s journey as his luck changes when he picks up an abandoned military uniform and finds the city ready to obey his every command.

Director Adrian Noble reunites with designer Anthony Ward, to stage this spectacular new production in the Olivier Theatre.
