Visit The Singleton Taste Room

This is a sponsored post on behalf of The Singleton of Dufftown.

What's the perfect environment for malt whisky-tasting? The Singleton Taste Room opens this Thursday and Friday you're invited to experience it.

Five leading British tastemakers have curated the Taste Room, an exhibition, installation and whisky-tasting chamber on Portland Place.

DJ Gilles Peterson has created the perfect playlist, designer Dominic Wilcox has chosen the best glass to drink malt whisky from, designer Max Lamb has picked the ultimate seating, chef Mark Hix is going to come up with the perfect dish to serve with The Singleton and interior designer Daniel Poole is charged with harmonising every element in the room.

Other names from the worlds of art, design, interiors, food, music and publishing will be adding their personal touches to the Taste Room for your perusal. Look out for contributions from British milliner, Stephen Jones; luxury jewellers, Zoe and Morgan; British tailor, Timothy Everest; Cathal McAterr, founder of Folk Clothing; Sam Bompas; and artists, Jennifer Louise Martin, Corin Hardy and Keith Coventry.

It's up to you to decide if you agree that The Singleton Taste Room is the best space in which to taste malt whisky. Offer up your opinion and you could be in with a chance to win certain elements of the room.

The installation is free for all to attend and guests will receive complimentary glasses of The Singleton whisky.

The Singleton Taste Room opens this Thursday 27 and Friday 28 September at 33 Portland Place, London W1B 1QE from 6-10pm. For further information about The Singleton™ of Dufftown, visit www.malts.com.
