Comedy Preview: Ronnie Chieng & Matt Okine @ Soho Theatre

This post is produced in association with Soho Theatre.

The joint winners of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Best Newcomer Award 2012 are in residence in Soho this week. These up and coming Aussie comics have already played the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal so catch them Downstairs at Soho Theatre before they go all stadium on us.

Matt Okine is black and likes chicken… but he’s also chicken of some seafood. This is a joyful exploration of family, urban life and sea creatures. Be warned, this show culminates in a dawn showdown between Matt and a very cranky mud-crab.

See Being Black and Chicken and S#%t daily until Saturday at 7.30pm.

Ronny Chieng doesn’t want to be liked. He will, however, get you on side with his determination to show he has the comic skills, academic brilliance and all-round credentials to make you laugh. Plus, he’ll prove once and for all that being Chinese is really cool.

See The Ron Way daily until Saturday at 9.15pm.

Tickets are £10 Wednesday-Thursday, £15 Friday-Saturday. See both Matt and Ronny's shows for a combined price of just £15/£20 when booking both shows. Simply use the promotion code mattandronny when booking to get your discount. Visit Soho Theatre website for more information and online booking or call 020 7478 0100.
