To celebrate its new CitiScape collection of headphones, Philips is running a photography competition through Instagram, searching for the images that best represent the vast and vibrant sounds of the UK’s urban environments.
All you need to do is capture a fun and creative shot with Instagram that sums up the city and its sounds. Here's what to do:
- Instagram a picture that represents the sounds of your urban environment
- Give it a title
- Tag it with #MyCityMyMusic
- Tweet your entry with the same hashtag (optional)

Five shortlisted finalists will be invited to an exclusive CitiScape launch event in London on Thursday 5 July, to showcase their photography. One will be announced winner on the night, receiving a place on a professional urban photography course in London, a selection of new photography equipment and a pair of headphones from the Philips CitiScape collection. The four runners up will also receive a pair of Philips CitiScape headphones plus an Apple iPod Touch.
The deadline for entries is 23:59, Wednesday 27 June with finalists notified by Friday 29 June. Entrants must be over 18, terms and conditions apply.
