Guided Olympic Walks Now Available In The Evenings

The Blue Badge Tourist Guides have increased the number of tours they’re offering of the Olympic Park, introducing a new evening Olympic walk on a Wednesday.

It’s good news for those of us who’ve been unable to take up their daily Olympic walks (at 11am and 2pm) because we’ve been stuck in the office.

From tonight, you can rock up to Bromley-by-Bow tube station for 6pm and take part. It's all over by 8pm, giving you plenty of time to get to the pub afterwards. If you’d rather book, visit www.tourguides2012.co.uk/bookings to make your reservation. The tours don’t go inside the park itself, but you do get great views of Olympic stadium, Orbit tower, aquatics centre, copperbox, broadcasting centre and the Olympic village.

Tours cost £9 for adults, £7 for seniors & students, and £5 if you're under 16. You can pay your guide in cash on the day. Simple.
