Spoken Word Preview: Story Map @ The Albany

Do you have a tale about a fake or replica from another country? It might be needed at The Albany this Saturday, where there's a day-long project to map the whole world.

Story Map collects stories from every country, creates a global map (from memory – tricky) using post-it notes and drawings, and presents those stories throughout the day. It's free so you can drop in at any time and see how it's going.

The project comes from theatre companies Third Angel and mala voadora and is a sister production to What I Heard About the World, which uses stories contributed during Story Map sessions. They want to know: do you have to fake the world in order to understand it?

Still not sure how it works? Then watch this video.

Story Map runs 10am-10pm on Saturday 24 February at The Albany, Douglas Way, Deptford, and it's free.
