The Young British Artists changed modern art by bringing it to the masses, but they also inspired the next generation of artists.
Lucy Sparrow is one of the inspired and she has taken the works of artists like Damien Hirst and Tracey Emin, and added her own unique and often humorous twist to them.
This is Sparrow's first solo show and with rumours of there being a felt replica of Hirst's shark in formaldehyde, the mix of satire and sensational art promises to be entertaining.
Imitation is on at Hoxton Gallery, 12-18 Hoxton Street, London, N1 6NG from 2-6 April. Entrance is free.
