Remember the huge ginger moustache hanging from the mega-billboard on the Foundry building last month? An ad campaign about the red-heads that kindly 'donated' to the furry facial hairpiece hits the telly this month.
It's a promotion for a new alcoholic ginger beer – Ginger Joe's – from the makers of Stone's Ginger Wine, which was first produced in 1740 at London's Finsbury Distillery. Both drinks are named for Joseph Stone, the Holborn green grocer who was a most important customer of the distillery and bearer of a handsome and hairy ginger 'tache.
