Sunday: Eugene Mirman (probably best known from Flight of the Conchords, right?) is in the middle of a run at the Soho Theatre (7.45pm, £17.50 / £15 / £12.50). He'll be joined by guests including Tom Allen, Stewart Lee and Josie Long.
Monday: Old Rope has a particularly brilliant line-up tonight: Adam Bloom, Rich Hall, Robin Ince, Tiffany Stevenson, Milton Jones, Nick Revell and Neil McFarlane - downstairs at the Phoenix for only a fiver (8.15pm).
Tuesday: The Alternative Comedy Memorial Society is back at the New Red Lion Theatre (8pm, £8). Expect some or all of Josie Long, Bridget Christie, Thom Tuck, John-Luke Roberts, Nadia Kamil, Will Andrews, Alexis Dubus and / or Tom Bell.
Wednesday: Don't tell ComComedy the Germans don't have a sense of humour (or tell Henning Wehn, for that matter) cos they're doing an Oktoberfest night at the Queen of Shoreditch (7.30pm, £5). Naz Osmanoglu, Patrick Monahan, Joe Selby, Ben Target, Spencer Jones and Horse & Louis fight with beer and sausages for your attention.
Thursday: Marc Dolan MCs the Chickenshed's Autumn comedy night (and it is definitely Autumn now). Stand-ups are Chris Cox, Show Me the Funny's Ellie Taylor, Rachel Parris and the excellent, mad, garlanded Jeremy Lion (7.30pm, £10 / £12).
Friday: Go to Crack Comedy in Kingston to see Josh Howie and hear Mitch Benn's fantastically funny songs (8.30pm, £10 / £6).
Saturday: Rhona Cameron's working out new material at Hen and Chickens (7.30pm, £7.50). New material nights can be fascinating - get a look right into a comedian's brain.
Book ahead: Stewart Lee's doing a mammoth run at the Leicester Square Theatre, starting 15th November and going until February!
