Free Acrobatics Show in Trafalgar Square

If you're passing Trafalgar Square tomorrow or Wednesday, try and time your visit for 1pm, 3.30pm, 5.30pm or 7pm, when a troupe of acrobats will be performing in mid-air or descending a vertical wall in front of Nelson's column.

All these types of things are for publicity, sure, and this one's for the Vienna Tourist Board - so expect to see waltzes, strudel, Klimt and the Hapsburgs above the fountains - but a free acrobatics show is not to be sniffed at.

You can also strap on a harness and take a stroll down the wall yourself, should you fancy it; but it's 21m tall. Which is quite tall. Still 30m shorter than the famous column, but nobody's suggesting you walk down that...
