Indulge in a swinging sixties retro moment by diving into this post from the vinyl-loving Voices of East Anglia about the former HMV store at 363 Oxford Street by Bond Street station (now Footlocker).
They've pulled a set of photos from hmv_getcloser on Flickr. Check out all that neat vinyl, the stereophonic players, that groovy spiral staircase, tellies with rounded screens in sturdy cabinets, 'Cosmopolitan Corner' and, are these ladies wearing some kind of uniform or are they just wearing the same dress? Can you identify any of the vinyl on sale?
While you're there check out their gallery of photos of the streets of London 1976-78.
Thanks to Tony Burton for the tip off.
